“Wow! I can’t rave enough about our recent stay at this incredible villa in Hamilton Cove. If you’re considering booking, let me share why this place is an absolute must.
Firstly, the views are beyond breathtaking – untouched and truly mesmerizing. Our family of five felt right at home in the spacious villa. The beds were not only comfortable but also made for a restful night’s sleep, ensuring we were ready to explore the wonders of the island each day.
The kitchen is a dream, and we loved the large kitchen table, where we had the most memorable family dinners with panoramic views as our backdrop. And here’s the kicker – our absolute favorite part was being able to hear the waves crashing from every room in the house. It added an incredible coastal ambiance that made our stay even more special.
Having explored various rentals in the area, I can confidently say, not all villas are the same. This one is a hidden gem! A great host paired with an amazing location. A++.”

“We love to visit Catalina Island at least twice a year. We always stay at Hamilton Cove as we find it to be the most peaceful and beautiful place to stay in Avalon. This unit was by far our favorite for ourselves and our teen daughter. Amber thought of everything you could need and more. The furnishings and decor were comfortable and of good quality. I’m a linen and bed snob and found the bed comfortable and the linens also comfortable. And thankfully there was a good amount of towels. I hate when I stay at an Airbnb and there’s not enough towels. The views are amazing!!! And the overall comfort and feel of the unit was great. I highly recommend this unit. The host was very friendly and accommodating. She seems to know her stuff about the magical island that is Catalina ♥️ from the beautiful views, to the serenity of the sea you will not be disappointed you decided to stay here. We went back reality (Los Angeles) well rested and grateful for the time we shared as a family.”

“If you dream of just relaxing with your favorite drink in a comfortable chair, soaking in the sun, listening to the waves while watching the boats float by….this is the PERFECT location. The mostly private (we never saw a neighbor) wrap around, corner balcony was AMAZING! We were so comfortable it was hard to leave to visit Avalon. The furnishings are beautiful and comfortable. The beds, pillows and linens were all very high quality. The condo is spacious with views from every window. The golf cart was stylish, easy to drive/park and quiet. IF I had to say anything negative it would be the countless stairs BUT we knew about that and we got a great workout in. The condo is worth every step and more. I can’t say enough positive things about our stay. Our only regret was not booking it for a longer stay!”

“This is heaven on earth. It was peaceful, quiet, safe, very clean, everything worked so well, it was beautiful oceanfront I could see the ocean from my bed… I call this my perfect hideout from the busyness of life. I feel so relaxed and will definitely go again… it’s the best kept secret. I came here after reading the reviews and for sure the view is breathtaking! I couldn’t take enough pictures and videos. From the living room and bedroom balcony you see the oceanfront. I was looking for a great view and this did the trick. The high ceilings and amazing shower and bathtub were a plus. Electric fireplace in bedroom was great! I just love this place. The owners were so gracious and amazing in communication. You must try this place. “

I have stayed in Hamilton cove at least 10 times over the last 15 years and this property had one of the best views and longest balcony. We enjoyed perfect sunrises and sunsets with great views of the ocean and Palos Verdes Peninsula in the distance. Definitely will return again.”

“This was a girls trip, and I was thrilled when we arrived to see that the description of this unit was exactly what we had expected. The decor and the views were amazing. Having coffee every morning on the patio taking in the gorgeous sunrise. Great location, just steps away from the pool. Having the golf cart was a great addition. The manager was very responsive when we had any questions and was truly concerned that we were taken care of. Definitely will be returning.”

“Sometimes the real thing doesn’t match up to photos, but in this case the real thing was even better! The view from the condo was SPECTACULAR. The condo had everything we needed. Falling asleep to the crashing waves in a super comfortable bed provided the most peaceful sleep. The golf cart was fantastic. All 6 of us fit comfortably and it was a convenient way to tour the town. I booked our family trip for next year before we even left the condo. Can’t wait for a repeat of a wonderful vacation!”

“My husband and I along with another couple had an amazing stay. The villa is well appointed. Beds are extremely comfortable. Views so incredible that words are hard to find to describe. The boys spent their morning diving at Avalon Dive Park while the ladies couldn’t peel themselves away from the patio and mimosas. Would absolutely recommend staying here. One thing to keep in mind, the villa is down quite a few staircases. But definitely worth the effort!”

“We stayed as a family of 3 adults and 2 children. The villa was well appointed with plenty of space for everyone and exactly as in the pictures. The views from the balcony, living room and main bedroom were absolutely stunning! You can hear the ocean from the living room and main bedroom which is wonderfully peaceful and relaxing. The location within the complex is super close to the pool and just a short distance from the Hamilton Cove beach. We thoroughly enjoyed BBQing dinner in the evenings and there was ample propane without worry of running out. Probably our favorite feature was the awesome, brand new, 6 seat electric golf cart that came along with the villa! It was super convenient and tons of fun driving the short distance into Avalon. A golf cart is a must and this was probably the nicest one on the island. We loved this villa and would definitely rent it again.”

We love this condo….Amber and Veronica go out of their way to make our stay a wonderful one. We try to stay here every 4th of July and this year we were lucky once again to book it before someone else did. The condo is serene, beautifully decorated in the Catalina Beach Theme, the bedding is fantastic, the kitchen well stocked, the wine glasses to die for, the view is beyond fantastic and the patio is awesome. I really can’t say enough nice things. We feel like we have come home every time we stay here. Just book it before I do. Ha ha.”

Our suite was perfect: comfy bed, beautiful view, close to a little beach spot and pool, and so quiet and peaceful! This was our first time to Catalina and we had a great time. “This 2-bedroom was so nicely decorated and had all the amenities we could want. A lovely stovetop/oven, dishwasher, barbecue, french-door refrigerator, and a great view to boot!
We entered no problem with clear instructions to access the wi-fi and were quickly able to watch television complete with Netfix, Hulu and all the cable channels.

“We really enjoyed our week here. Communication with Amber and Veronica prior to check in was excellent and found our way into the property easily. The view is insane, Hamilton Cove is a slice of paradise and the unit was beautiful. We had everything we needed including clubs/golf balls for the mini course, rackets/balls for tennis, plus everything else to make meals. We ran into a few minor issues that Veronica went above and beyond to resolve for us, things happen and how she dealt with it is well appreciated! We are already missing afternoons on the balcony.

“Catalina was such an amazing place to vacation. The weather was beautiful, the trip over was so easy, and it was very relaxing. Staying in Hamilton Cove made it even better. You are just far enough way from town to feel like you are in a secluded resort, but conveniently close to go in for dinners and shopping.
